To Pitman Arm

TO PITMAN ARM

NOTE: All views are typical. 2500 shown, others similar.





1. Install the drag link end (4) to the adjustment sleeve (3) and to the pitman arm.
2. Install the drag link to pitman arm nut (5) and tighten to specifications [1][2]Specifications.
3. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle. Center the steering wheel and adjust the toe Service and Repair.

NOTE: Position the clamp on the adjustment sleeve so retaining bolt is located on the bottom side of the sleeve.

4. After adjustment, tighten the tie rod adjustment sleeve clamp bolts to specifications, [1][2]Specifications.
