1. Install the disc brake caliper (2).

NOTE: Install a new copper washers on the banjo bolt when installing

CAUTION: Verify that the brake hose is not twisted or kinked before tightening the fitting bolt.

2. Install the banjo bolt (4) with new copper washers to the caliper. Tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.)
3. Coat the caliper mounting slide pin bolts (3) with silicone grease and install. For Cab Chassis tighten to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). For 4500, 5500 series tighten to 133 Nm (98 ft. lbs.).Install the caliper slide pin bolts (1) and tighten to 133 Nm (98 ft. lbs.)
4. Remove the prop rod from the brake pedal.
5. Bleed the area of repair for the brake system, If a proper pedal is not felt during bleeding an area of repair then a base bleed system must be performed.Service and Repair.
6. Install the tire and wheel assembly Service and Repair.

7. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
