FRONT - LINK/COIL SUSPENSION





1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove the caliper slide pin bolts (1)Disc Brake Caliper - Removal.

CAUTION: Never allow the disc brake caliper to hang from the brake hose. Damage to the brake hose will result. Provide a suitable support to hang the caliper securely.

4. Remove the disc brake caliper (2) from the adapter.
5. Remove the brake pads Brake Pads - Removal.

NOTE: For 4500 AND 5500 heavy duty trucks use special tool #10050 wrench.

6. Remove the caliper adapter mounting bolts (5).
