Removal

Engine, 3.OL Turbo Diesel/Manifolds/ACTUATOR, Swirl Valve/Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.Battery Cables - Removal

CAUTION: Observe the position of the turbocharger oil passage housing and gasket. Failure to properly position the gasket during assembly will result in immediate turbocharger failure after assembly.






2. Remove the turbocharger (3).Turbocharger - Removal
3. Remove the transmission Service and Repair
4. Disconnect the engine harness and position aside (2).






5. Remove the swirl valve actuator (2) clips.
6. Disconnect the swirl valve actuator harness connector.
7. Remove bolts and the swirl valve actuator.
