1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the right or left outside rear view mirror unit (1) from the door panel. Outside Rearview Mirror - Removal.
3. Remove the upper lens (2) from the mirror. Outside Rearview Mirror - Removal.
4. Disengage the rear park assist display (3) pigtail wire (5) and connector from the body of the mirror unit.
5. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the display to the back of the mirror lens.
6. Remove the display from the lens.
