Hydraulic Control unit (HCU) - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the ground cable at the post near the accelerator.
2. Install the brake pedal winch.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the ABM module (2).
4. Disconnect the brake lines (3) from the hydraulic control unit (4). Mark the brake lines for reinstallation, also seal off the connections and lines to prevent contamination.
5. Remove the hydraulic control unit (4) from the rubber mounts.
6. Check the rubber mounts (Replace if necessary).
7. Remove the HCU (4) from the vehicle.
8. Remove the ABM (2) if needed Removal.
