SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some customers may find it difficult to operate the middle side glass vent latches. Revised latches have been developed to make the latches easier to grip.
DIAGNOSIS:
Refer to the illustrations. If the middle side glass vent latches are not type B, perform the repair. If the latches are type B, no further action is required. Both types of latches have a designed in stiffness which prevents the latches working from the open to closed position when the vehicle is driven over rough roads.

1 4673274 Latch, Middle Side Vent, Right
1 4673275 Latch, Middle Side Vent, Left
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves installing revised middle side glass vent latches.
1. Remove the middle side vent latches.
2. Install the revised latches. Torque the screws attaching the body side half of the latches to 85 In.Lbs. (9.6 N-m). Torque the screw attaching the glass side half of the latches to 60 In.Lbs. (6.8 N-m).
