A. Inspect Wheel Build Date Code

NOTE:
Vehicle may have one, four or five wheels to be inspected.

A1. FOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 15" STAMPED STEEL WHEELS (Sales Code -- WCF):

a. Remove all wheel covers.





b. Inspect wheel build date codes located above valve stem (Figure 1).

NOTE:
Date code may be covered by a green sticker. Remove and discard sticker as necessary.

A2. FOR VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 15" FULL SIZE STAMPED STEEL SPARE (Sales Code -- TBB):

a. Gain access to spare.

b. Inspect wheel build date code located above valve stem (Figure 1).

NOTE:
Date code may be covered by a green sticker. Remove and discard sticker as necessary.

A3. If any of the wheels inspected contain a month/day code of 3/31, 4/01, 4/02, 4/05, or 4/06, replace the affected wheel as instructed in Section B. If none of the wheels have one of the date codes listed, reinstall wheel covers and/or secure spare, no further action is required.

NOTE:
Replace only those wheels having one of the date codes listed above.
