6 Testing the Resume Switch

1. Connect diagnostic readout box to the engine harness connector.
2. Turn ignition On, then press and hold resume button on the control switch.
3. Check white/light green wire at speed control switch connector for voltage.
4. If white/light green wire does not have voltage, replace speed control switch.
5. If white/light green wire has voltage, proceed as follows:
a. Release resume button, then disconnect engine controller 60-way connector.
b. Inspect cavity seven for properly installed white/light green wire, repair connector as necessary and re-test.
c. If cavity seven is satisfactory, with key On, hold resume switch on and test cavity seven for voltage.
d. If cavity seven has voltage, replace engine controller.
e. If cavity seven does not have voltage, repair open circuit of white/light green wire between engine controller and control switch.
