D Servo Actuator Test
1. Connect diagnostic readout box to the engine harness connector and select test "Actuate Solenoid/Rly," then choose "S/C Servo Solenoid."2. Reconnect all speed control connectors, then connect an auxiliary vacuum supply to the servo.
3. Apply sufficient vacuum to operate servo, for a vacuum source connect a hose to a second vehicle.
4. If the throttle opens and closes, repair vacuum supply to servo.
5. If the throttle does not open and close, check for broken or disconnected servo cable. Repair or replace as necessary.
6. If the throttle is not broken or disconnected, disconnect and reconnect the servo 4-way connector.
7. If servo now actuates, repair servo 4-way connector for a flared or defective terminal.
8. If servo does not actuate, replace speed control servo.
