Fig. 7, Checking Coolant Temperature Sender Resistance:

1. The coolant temperature sending unit is located at the rear of the cylinder head.
2. Measure resistance between coolant temperature sending unit and ground, Fig. 7.
3. On Charade models with 1.0L/3-60.6 engine, resistance should be approximately 247 ohms at 50°C and 25.2 ohms at 118°C.
4. On all models, if resistance reading are not with in limits, remove coolant temperature sending unit.
