Throttle Body: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner hose.
3. Remove accelerator and throttle cables.
4. Disconnect and mark vacuum hoses.
5. Disconnect throttle position sensor connector.
6. Remove throttle body.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Use a new gasket when installing throttle body.
b. Apply Three Bond No. 1207C or equivalent to attaching bolts prior to installation.
c. Torque throttle body bolts to 10.8-15.9 ft. lbs.
