Fuel Injector Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. When ignition switch is turned On, check for relay operation sound.
2. Inspect relay terminals as follows:
a. Ensure 40-100 ohms of resistance between terminals 1 and 2 on injector relay.
b. Ensure no continuity exists between terminals 3 and 4, 1 and 3, 1 and 4, 2 and 3 or between terminals 2 and 4.
c. If tests are not as specified, replace relay.
3. Apply battery voltage across terminals 1 and 2.
4. Ensure continuity exists between terminals 3 and 4.
5. Replace relay is no continuity exists.
