1. Turn crankshaft until mating mark on flywheel is aligned with mating mark on bellhousing Fig. 28.
2. Check to see if valve rocker arms of No. 1 cylinder are free or pushed up. Using thickness gauge and table, Fig. 29, adjust valve clearances, Fig. 30. to specifications.
3. Turn crankshaft 360 degrees. Adjust non adjusted valve clearances.
