Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid: Service and Repair

TCC SOLENOID

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the transaxle side cover. Case





2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid (335).

Notice: Use a small screwdriver to remove the retainer clips. Be careful not to score the valve body when removing the retainer clips.

3. Remove the solenoid retainer clip (304) from the valve body.
4. Remove the TCC solenoid (335).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid (335) into the valve body.
2. Install the retainer clip (304) into the valve body.
3. Connect the electrical connection to the solenoid (335).
4. Install the transaxle side cover. Case
