Vehicle Speed Sensor Installation

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR INSTALLATION





1. Inspect the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (62) for damage to the sensor, the electrical connector, or the O-ring (63).
2. Clean and dry the VSS (62).





3. Install the O-ring (63) onto the VSS (62).
4. Install the VSS (62) into the transmission case.
5. Install the VSS stud (61). Tighten the VSS stud to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
