Pressure Relief Valve

Disassembly Procedure
1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Remove the pressure relief valve.
4. Clean the valve seat area.




Assembly Procedure
1. Lubricate the O-ring of the new pressure relief valve with new polyalkalene glycol (PAG) oil.
2. Install the new valve.

Tighten
Tighten the pressure relief valve to 16 Nm (12 lb.ft).

3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Evacuate and recharge the system.
