ADJUSTMENTS

CONVERTIBLE SIDE GLASS ADJUSTMENTS

This procedure is applicable to both soft and hard top convertibles.

NOTE: The front and rear side glass should be considered as a system and adjustments to either front or rear can have an effect on each other. Both front and rear glass may require adjustment when one of the other are out of tolerance.

NOTE: If a power loss or a glass frozen condition exists (front glass drop feature is inoperative), it is critical to verify that the:
- front door glass up/down adjustment is within tolerance.
- front door glass inboard/outboard rear adjustment is within tolerance.

NOTE:
Verify that the door is properly adjusted to the body prior to adjusting the door glass.

UP/DOWN ADJUSTMENT-FRONT DOOR GLASS

NOTE: The front and rear side glass should be considered as a system and adjustments to either front or rear can have an effect on each other. Both front and rear glass may require adjustment when one of the other are out of tolerance.

1. Lower the front door and quarter glass halfway down.

2. Using masking tape or equivalent, place tape as shown (1 and 2).

3. On the front window (2), measure and mark two lines, one at 7 mm and another at 11 mm from the top of the window.
