Front Crossmember Isolator - Removal







REMOVAL

Special Tools:











1. Remove the engine cradle crossmember.

2. As an installation reference, carefully mark location of isolator (3) requiring removal on crossmember (1) (around isolator can flange) using a marker or crayon. Do not use a scratch awl to mark location.

NOTE:
Prior to using special tools, lubricate OTC(R) three jaw puller 1026 or equivalent (B) threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.

3. Assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:

4. Tighten OTC(R) three jaw puller 1026 or equivalent (A) screw-drive, pressing isolator out of the crossmember (A).
