Rear Door Glass - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Insert the rear door glass (1) into the carrier plate cavity.
2. Lower the fixed glass and glass run on an angle to position into the door.
3. Install the fastener (2) securing the fixed glass to the door. Tighten the fastener securely.
4. Install the cover (3) for the lower fixed glass fastener access hole.
5. Align, position and attach the upper trim (1) to the door.





6. Install the fastener (1) securing the fixed glass to the door. Tighten the fastener securely.
7. Install the door weatherstrip.





8. Lift the sliding glass (1) and tape the glass to the door header.
9. Install the rear door carrier plate, Rear Door Carrier Plate - Installation.
10. Install the outside door handle.
11. With the help of an assistant holding the glass, remove the tape securing the glass, lower and align the glass with the regulator tab.
12. Engage the window regulator tab into the glass.
13. Apply a clear adhesive patch or equivalent to the front window regulator access hole.
14. Close the latch access cover (3).
15. Reinstall the inner belt weatherstrip onto the rear door.
16. Reinstall the trim panel onto the inside of the rear door, Rear Door Trim Panel - Installation.
