Left Axle Seal

LEFT AXLE SEAL

Special Tools:










1. Using Installer , install left (inboard) axle seal (2).
2. Install differential (3)(Figure 1). Install cover (5) with new o-ring seal (4).
3. Install and torque cover-to-housing bolts to:
- M10x40 - 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.)
- M8x25 - 34 Nm (25 ft. lbs.)





4. Install axle assembly into vehicle.Installation
5. Fill axle (1)(Figure 2) with 600ml (0.64 qts.) Mopar(R) 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lubricant. Torque fill plug (1) to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
