Manual Park Release Cable - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the shifter bezel.
3. Disconnect the cable (1) from the housing (2), while holding the release tab (3) open.
4. Disconnect the cable from the lever.
5. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.





6. Using a flat bladed tool, disconnect the cable (1) from the transmission lever (2).





7. Remove the cable retention bracket bolts (1) and remove the cable (2) from the vehicle.
