Rear

REAR

The rear power sunshade switch is a momentary, push button-type switch, that provide a hard-wired resistance signal to the Body Control Module (BCM), the BCM transfers this signal to the sunshade control module to raise or lower the sunshade. In addition to signaling the module, the BCM sends a message to the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) Screen (also known as the U-Connect Touch (TM) screen module) over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus.

The rear sunshade switch is diagnosed using a scan tool, for more information. Testing and Inspection

The rear heated seat switches cannot be adjusted or repaired and if it becomes damaged or inoperative, the entire switch must be replaced.
