Door Lock Cylinder - Removal

REMOVAL






NOTE: Lock cylinder is only present on the front driver door. The remaining doors are equipped with a delete cap. The delete caps are removed/installed similar to the lock cylinder.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Open the front door.
3. Remove the protective plug used to cover the PIA fastener (2) located rearward of the door lock cylinder/delete cap (1).
4. Remove the door lock cylinder/delete cap (1) from the front door by loosening the PIA fastener (2) accessed rearward of the handle and gently prying door lock cylinder/delete cap (1) away. Do not attempt to remove the PIA fastener.
