Decklid - Installation
INSTALLATION
1. With the aid of an assistant, position the decklid (1) to the springs.
2. Loosely install the bolts attaching the hinge (2) to the decklid (1).
3. Align the decklid to the reference marks where the hinge (2) attaches to the decklid (1).
4. Install and tighten the two bolts that secure the hinge (2) to the deck lid (1). Tighten the screws to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).

6. Adjust the deck lid hinge position as necessary to achieve proper spacing and operation.
NOTE: RH shown, LH typical.
7. Position the wheel well cover trim into the trunk/cargo area.
8. Connect the trunk lamp (4) harness connector.
9. Install the cargo net lower hooks (5).
10. Install the push-in retainer (3) that secures the wheel well cover trim.
11. Install the cargo net hook screw (1) and upper cargo hook (2).
12. Position the rear seat bolster (2), push rearward to engage the retaining clip between the rear shelf and the bolster.
13. Install the push-in fasteners (3) that secure the trunk side trim. Repeat for the opposite side.
14. Install the RH rear seat back side bolster bracket bolt (4). Repeat for the opposite side.
15. Connect and attach the vehicle to lightbar harness (1) to the decklid.
NOTE: The manual trunk release handle (2) must be routed through the deck lid insulator.
16. Position the decklid insulator.
17. Install the push-in retainers (3) securing the decklid insulator (1) to the decklid.
18. Position the hinge trim (1) to the hinge.
19. Install the hinge trim push-in fasteners (2). If necessary, repeat for the opposite side.
20. Install the decklid bumper (1). Repeat for the other side.
21. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
22. Install the spare tire cover/trunk floor carpet over the spare tire well.
23. Close the vehicle trunk.
