Rear Door - Removal

REMOVAL






NOTE: Have an assistant to aid in removal/installation.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Open the front door.
3. Mark the upper and/or lower hinge bracket location on the door.
4. Carefully pull the door wire harness boot and connector (5) out from the B-pillar far enough to access and disconnect the body wire harness connector.
5. Remove the bolts (3, 4) securing the hinge bracket to the door.
6. Open the door to the full open position.
7. Support the door with a suitable lifting device.
8. Remove the nuts (1, 2) securing the hinge bracket to the door.
9. Remove the rear door from the vehicle.
