U1175-00-LOST IGNITION STATUS MESSAGE

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

Theory of Operation

The Electronic Pedestrian Protection Module (EPPM) receives the ignition status message over the CAN C bus from the Electronic Ignition System.

- When Monitored:
Ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The EPPM doesn't receive a vehicle ignition switch status signal from the Electronic Ignition System (EIS) over the CAN C bus for 25 seconds to set the active code. The EPPM receives a vehicle speed signal for over one second to recover and change to a stored code. The Airbag Warning Lamp (AWL) on while faulted condition is active.
