Passenger Door Module (PDM), (DMFL/R)

U0018-00 CAN INTERIOR BUS (-) SHORTED TO BUS (+)

- When Monitored:
Continuously when the ignition is on.

Battery voltage between 10 and 16 volts.

- Set Condition:
The Body Control Module (BCM) detects the CAN Interior Bus (+) circuit is shorted to the CAN Interior Bus (-) circuit.





Diagnostic Test
VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: U0018-00-CAN INTERIOR BUS as Active?

Yes
- and perform the U0010-00 CAN Interior Bus diagnostic procedure.

No
- and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
