P1666-00-CRUISE CONTROL MODULE INTERNAL

- When Monitored:
Continuously monitored with the engine running, the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Module voltage at battery voltage, and the ACC Module in normal mode.

- Set Condition:
Internal ACC Module failure detected. The ACC module will disable the ACC system and the SERVICE ACC message will display in the Cabin Compartment Node (CCN). Once the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) goes to stored, the ACC system will return to normal operation. The DTC will be cleared after a 100 consecutive key cycles of the STORED DTC.

VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Using a scan tool, read ACC DTCs.

Is the DTC active at this time?

Yes

- Replace the ACC Module.
- Perform the ACC MODULE VERIFICATION TEST. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Verification Test.

No

- No repair is necessary. Make sure the lens is free of dirt, damage, and other obstructions. Clear the DTC and verify the proper operation of the ACC system.
- Perform the ACC MODULE VERIFICATION TEST. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Verification Test.
