An ambient lamp can be a: map pocket, door handle, halo ring, cup holder, etc. It is a LED with a built in circuit board. The Body Control Module sends a command to the Door Module to turn it on or off.

- When Monitored:
Whenever the ambient lamp is commanded to be on.

- Set Condition:
When the Passenger Door Ambient Lamp Driver circuit falls below 3.0 volts for over 2000 ms. and the above conditions are met, this code will set.

1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION

NOTE: It is recommended that a battery charger be connected and set on low during this test.

NOTE: Be sure the thumbwheels on the Dimmer Module are turned fully on during this test.
