Body Control Module (BCM)






B2199-17-BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE ABOVE THRESHOLD





For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
Continuously.

- Set Condition:
When the Body Control Module (BCM) detects a high voltage condition on either the (A903) or (A904) Fused B(+) circuits, where the voltage input is above 16.0 volts for more than one second.





CHECK FOR ANY POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULES DTCS

NOTE: Make sure the Battery is in good condition. Battery System Perform the Battery System diagnostic procedure.

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read active PCM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display any active PCM DTCs?

Yes

- Testing and Inspection Perform the appropriate diagnostic test procedure.

No

- Check the above conditions that can cause a high voltage condition. Repair as necessary.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
