B1A7B-01-IMMOBILIZER ANTENNA (KIN) - GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE





For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
Whenever the Start Button is pressed or the Loop test for the immobilizer is run.

- Set Condition:
If the internal antenna is shorted to ground, open, shorted to battery or the internal terminals are shorted together, this code will set.





CHECK INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off and wait 30 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition on and attempt to start the engine.
5. If the engine started, wait 10 seconds then turn the ignition off.
6. Turn the ignition on.
7. Using the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

Does the scan tool display; B1A7B-01-IMMOBILIZER ANTENNA (KIN) - GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE?

Yes

- Replace the Keyless Ignition Node. Keyless Ignition Node Receiver - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete. If the DTC ever repeats, replace the Keyless Ignition Node. Keyless Ignition Node Receiver - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
