B1577-13 UNIVERSAL CONSUMER INTERFACE (UCI) - OPEN CIRCUIT

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Telematics Gateway (TGW) detects that the USB cable is disconnected for greater than 10 seconds.





1. CHECK THE USB CABLE CONNECTION AT THE TELEMATICS GATEWAY (TGW) MODULE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Inspect the USB cable connection at the rear of the Telematics Gateway (TGW).

Is the USB cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Repair the USB cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. CHECK THE USB CABLE CONNECTION AT THE UNIVERSAL CONSUMER INTERFACE (UCI)
1. Inspect the USB cable connection at the rear of the Universal Consumer Interface (UCI).

Is the USB cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Replace the USB Cable.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Repair the USB cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
