B1570-00 USB COMMUNICATION

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Telematics Gateway (TGW) detects that the USB cable is disconnected for greater than 5 seconds.





1. CHECK THE USB CABLE CONNECTION AT THE TELEMATICS GATEWAY (TGW) MODULE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Inspect the USB cable connection at the rear of the Telematics Gateway (TGW).

Is the USB cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Repair the USB cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. CHECK THE USB CABLE CONNECTION AT THE HANDS FREE MODULE (HFM)
1. Inspect the USB cable connection at the rear of the Hands Free Module (HFM).

Is the USB cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Replace the USB Cable.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Repair the USB cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
