B156D-00-LOW VOLTAGE DIFFERENTIAL SIGNAL (LVDS) VIDEO CABLE

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
The Integrated Center Stack (ICS) detects that the Low Voltage Differential Signal (LVDS) Video Cable is disconnected for greater than 10 seconds.





1. CHECK THE VIDEO CABLE CONNECTION AT THE INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICS) SCREEN MODULE
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Inspect the video cable connection at the rear of the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) Screen Module

Is the video cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Go To 2

No

- Repair the video cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

2. CHECK THE VIDEO CABLE CONNECTION AT THE TELEMATICS GATEWAY (TGW)
1. Inspect the video cable connection at the rear of the Telematics Gateway (TGW)

Is the video cable connection secure and undamaged?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- Repair the video cable connection as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

3. TEST THE LVDS CABLE

NOTE: To continue with this test, you must secure a Known Good Low Voltage Differential Signal (LVDS) Cable.

1. Connect a known good LVDS cable between the TGW and ICS.
2. With the scan tool, erase all ICS DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. With the scan tool, read the active ICS DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B156D-00-LOW VOLTAGE DIFFERENTIAL SIGNAL (LVDS) VIDEO CABLE as Active?

Yes

- Go To 4

No

- Replace the Low Voltage Differential Signal (LVDS) Video Cable.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

4. TEST THE TELEMATICS GATEWAY (TGW)

NOTE: To continue with this test, you must secure a Known Good TGW.

1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Connect a known good TGW to the LVDS cable.
3. With the scan tool, erase all ICS DTCs.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. With the scan tool, read the active ICS DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B156D-00-LOW VOLTAGE DIFFERENTIAL SIGNAL (LVDS) VIDEO CABLE as Active?

Yes

- Replace the ICS. Integrated Center Stack Screen Module - Removal
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Replace the TGW. Telematics Gateway Module - Removal
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
