License Plate Lamp - Installation






LAMP

CHRYSLER





1. Position the license plate lamp lens and housing (2) close enough to the mounting hole in the deck lid handle and light bar unit (1) to align the socket and bulb with the keyed opening on the top of the housing.
2. Insert the socket and bulb into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.
3. Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.
4. Engage the end of the lamp housing without the latch tab (3) into the inboard end of the mounting hole in the handle and light bar.
5. Push the end of the lamp housing with the latch tab up into the outboard end of the mounting hole until the latch snaps into place.
6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

DODGE





1. Position the license plate lamp lens and housing (2) close enough to the rear fascia mounting hole to align the socket (1) and bulb with the keyed opening on the top of the housing.
2. Insert the socket and bulb into the housing until the socket is firmly seated.
3. Rotate the socket clockwise about 30 degrees to lock it into place.





4. Insert one end of the license plate lamp (3) into one side of the rear fascia (1) mounting hole and slide it to that side far enough to insert the opposite end through the opening.
5. Center the lamp in the opening.
6. Install and tighten the two screws (2) that secure the lamp to the rear fascia. Tighten the screws securely.
7. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
