Front Lamp Unit - Removal

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Disengage the upper edge of the front fascia from the side (1) and front fascia brackets on the same side of the vehicle as the front lamp unit being serviced. Front Bumper Fascia - Removal.
3. Remove the two screws (2) that secure the side fascia bracket to the front fender forward of the front wheel opening.
4. Unsnap and remove the side fascia bracket from the front fender.

5. Remove the screw (2) that secures the outboard side of the front lamp unit (1) to the front fender forward of the front wheel opening.

6. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the front fascia bracket (5) to the Front End Module (FEM) support.
7. Remove the front fascia bracket from the FEM support.
8. Remove the two screws (1 and 3) that secure the front lamp unit (2) mounting tabs to the FEM support.

9. Remove the screw (2) that secures the upper outboard mounting tab of the front lamp unit (1) to the FEM upper support cross member.
10. Pull the lamp away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access and disconnect the FEM wire harness connections on the back of the lamp housing.
11. Remove the front lamp unit from the vehicle.

NOTE: If replacing the front lamp with a new unit, the bulbs must be transferred.
