Ambient Temperature Sensor - Description

DESCRIPTION

The ambient temperature sensor (1) is a variable resistor constructed of molded black plastic. It includes an integral connector (2) that encloses two terminal pins. The sensor is located behind the texture in the right end of the front fascia lower air intake. It is secured in a take out and connector of the FEM wire harness that is retained in a molded plastic stanchion-like bracket that extends straight downward from the underside of the front bumper bar.

The ambient temperature sensor cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
