REMOVAL





1. Remove the seat from vehicle.Seat - Removal
2. If equipped with a manual recliner handle (1), using special tool C-4829a, pry outward on the recliner handle to gain access to the retaining clip.





3. Separate the clip (2) and remove the recliner handle (1).





4. Using a trim stick, remove the seat belt cover (4) from the side shield (1).
5. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt (3) and remove the seat belt (2) from the seat.





6. Remove the fastener (1) attaching the side shield to the bottom of seat frame.
7. Carefully disengage the upper and rear plastic tabs from the shield.
8. Pull the side shield outward to disengage the middle spring clip retainer.
9. Slide the shield forward to disengage the front plastic tab from the seat frame.
10. Disconnect the electrical connectors, if equipped.
11. Remove power seat switches, if equipped.
