Instrument Panel Glove Box - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the cowl trim panel, Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.
3. Remove the instrument panel end cap.
4. Open glove box door (1).
5. Detach and disconnect the glove box dampener tether from the glove box.
6. Push in on sides of glove box bin and lower door.
7. Pivot glove box (1) down and rearward to disengage hinge hooks from instrument panel.
8. Remove the glove box (1).





9. Remove the push pin fasteners (2) securing the hush panel/silencer (1).
10. Remove the hush panel/silencer(1).





11. Remove the fasteners (2, 3, 4, 5), disconnect and remove the glove box module (1).
