Instrument Panel Base Panel - Installation

INSTALLATION - I/P BASE PANEL





1. If necessary, install the ductwork to the I/P base panel.
2. Position the I/P base panel from the structure.
3. Route all wiring harnesses to their appropriate areas.
4. Looking from underneath, install the fastener near the outboard duct. Tighten the fastener securely. Repeat for the opposite side.





5. Position the glove box striker and install the two glove box striker fasteners. Tighten the fasteners securely.
6. Install the fastener (1) located on the side. Tighten the fastener securely. Repeat for the opposite side.





7. Install the five fasteners (1) securing the center stack area to the I/P structure/reinforcement. Tighten the fasteners securely.





8. Install the five fasteners (1) securing the LH I/P base panel to the I/P structure/reinforcement.
9. Connect and install the ignition switch (2).





10. Install the four fasteners securing the I/P base panel to the structure/reinforcement located in the top middle area of the I/P. Tighten the fasteners securely.
11. Install the speakers, Speaker - Installation.
12. If equipped, install the remote start antenna and harness, Remote Start Antenna - Installation.
13. Install the compass transducer module, antenna and wiring harness, Navigation Antenna - Installation ,Hands Free Module (HFM) - Installation.
14. Install the sun sensor and wiring harness, Infrared Temperature Sensor - Installation.
15. Install the insulator (1) to the top of the instrument panel.
16. Install the instrument panel top pad, . Instrument Panel Pad - Installation
17. Install the instrument panel from the vehicle, . Instrument Panel - Installation
