P0125
P0125-INSUFFICIENT COOLANT TEMP FOR CLOSED-LOOP FUEL CONTROL
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.
- When Monitored:
With the ignition on, battery voltage greater than 10.4 volts, and no Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor circuit DTCs present.
- Set Condition:
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the engine coolant temperature is below the calibrated pass value when the engine run time is greater than the calibrated value based on start up coolant temperature. Two trip fault. Three good trips to turn off the MIL.
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting Procedure.
CHECKING THE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OPERATION.
NOTE: Diagnose and repair any engine coolant temperature sensor circuit DTCs before proceeding with this test.
NOTE: Extremely cold ambient temperatures may cause this DTC to set.
1. Perform the diagnostic procedure for CHECKING THE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OPERATION. . Checking The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Operation
