Retractable Hard Top - Middle Panel

MIDDLE PANEL





1. If required, transfer all parts to the new middle panel.
2. With the help of an assistant, place the mid panel (1) into position and loosely install the top fastener on each side.
3. Loosely install the lower two fasteners (2) on each side.
4. Place the shims into position between the middle panel and the side rail at each fastener.
5. Tighten the six fasteners to 20 N-m (15 ft. lbs.).
6. Connect the drain tube.





7. Engage the latch cable (1) to the support and the panel to panel latch.
8. Install the cylinder and install both clips (4).
9. Install the push-pins (3) securing the harness to the middle panel. Ensure proper routing.
10. Connect the micro-switch connectors (2 and 5).
11. Install the mid/rear headliner. Convertible Top Headliner - Installation.
12. Cycle the convertible top and verify operation.
