Folding Top Cover - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Place the top cover into position to the vehicle.
2. Engage the plastic edge retainers to the top and sides of the backlite opening.
3. Install the push pins to the backlite opening.
4. If replacing the top cover, install the tension cables.
5. Install the spring attachment end of the top cover tension cables.
6. Install the sail panel nuts, near the trough seal channel.
7. Connect cables to the header casting and install both the left and right tension cable forward retainers.
8. Connect the listing flaps (1) to the #3 bow (4).










9. Fold toward the front of the vehicle and carefully pull the top cover (1) to the forward edge of the header casting (12).Install the forward and rear rail weatherstrip retainers (5), fasteners (10 and 7) and shims (11 and 6).

NOTE: The middle side rail weatherstrips and the retainers Do Not need to be removed for the top cover removal.

10. Install the forward rail weather-strips and rear side rail weather-strips.










11. Install the top cover header retainer and the retainer fasteners.
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
13. Close the convertible top.
14. Install the Convertible Soft Top (CST) rear backlite to vehicle (3). Convertible Top Backlite - Installation.
15. Install the headliner (2). Convertible Top Headliner - Installation.
