Driver Surround Bezel

REMOVAL





1. Remove the cluster bezel Instrument Cluster Bezel - Removal.
2. Remove steering column opening cover Steering Column Opening Cover - Removal.
3. Remove knee bolster Kneeblocker - Removal.
4. Remove the door sill trim panel Scuff Plate - Removal.
5. Remove the cowl trim panel Cowl Trim Panel - Removal.
6. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755) or equivalent, gently pry out the decklid release switch (2).
7. Remove the center console bezel Center Console Bezel - Removal.
8. Remove the driver surround bezel screws (3):
- Three inside the knee blocker opening
- One underneath the left end cover
- One on the A-pillar
- One under the center console bezel





9. Carefully cut the plastic piece that runs across the top of the upper steering column cover shroud. This will allow the driver surround to be removed with out damaging the multi-function switches.
