Wireless Control Module (WCM)
B210E-BATTERY VOLTAGE HIGH
- When Monitored:
Ignition key in any position but run.
- Set Condition:
The Sentry Key remote Entry Module (SKREEM) also known as the Wireless Control Module (WCM) has detected the Fused (B+) input voltage above 16 volts in all Key Positions except for RUN.
DETERMINING IF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS CURRENT
CAUTION: Diagnose and repair all Powertrain DTCs before continuing.
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, record and erase the WCM DTCs.
3. Perform 5 ignition cycles, leaving the ignition switch on for a minimum of 90 seconds per cycle.
4. Using the scan tool, read the WCM DTCs.
Does the DTC reset?
Yes
- Replace and reprogram the Wireless Control Module.
- Perform the WCM VERIFICATION TEST. Wireless Control Module (WCM) Verification Test
No
- The DTC is not active at this time. Test complete.
