Hydraulic Lines - Removal
REMOVAL
LEFT SIDE HYDRAULIC LINES
NOTE: The hydraulic system uses ARAL VITAMOL ZH-M fluid. When replacing components or topping off system due to leak, make sure to use only approved fluid. When adding fluid Water Leak Test .
1. Open decklid,
2. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
3. Remove the rear trunk trim.
4. Remove the trunk side trim.
5. Remove the spare tire cover/floor of the trunk.
6. Release the pump pressure valve (3) by turning it counter clockwise (1) two rotations.
7. At the hydraulic cylinder (3) , slide the retaining clamp (2) off and pull out line (1).
8. Remove the pump mounting fasteners that secures the pump bracket to the body.
9. Remove the bolts to the line retaining plate.
10. Separate the line from the retaining plate at the pump.
11. Un-clip (1) the line from the trunk area and remove from vehicle.
RIGHT SIDE HYDRAULIC LINES
