Hood - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open hood (5).
2. Mark outline of hinges (4) on inside of hood (5) to aid installation.
3. Remove the top bolts attaching hood to hinge and loosen the bottom bolts (3) until they can be removed by hand.
4. With assistance from a helper at the opposite side of the vehicle to support the hood (5), remove bottom bolts (3) attaching hood to hinge (4).
5. Disconnect under hood lamp wire connector to engine compartment wire harness if equipped.
6. Disconnect windshield washer hose from hood.
7. Remove the hood from the vehicle.
8. Transfer parts as necessary.
