Instrument Panel - Installation
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Left hand shown. Right hand similar.
1. Before proceeding with the following repair procedure, review all warnings and cautions.
2. With the help of an assistant, install the I/P assembly into the vehicle and position onto the alignment pins.
3. Install instrument panel fasteners (1, 2, and 3) into driver and passenger sides of vehicle.
4. Install the fastener along the windshield.
5. Connect the amplifier connectors (2 and 3).
6. Connect instrument panel wiring harness connectors.
7. Snap center outlets into place
8. Install top pad ensuring tabs snap firmly in place. Instrument Panel Pad - Installation
9. Install defroster grille ensuring tabs snap firmly in place.Defroster Grille - Installation
10. Install speaker.Speaker - Installation
11. Install speaker grilles ensuring tabs snap firmly in place.
12. Install passenger side airbag, if equipped.
13. Install A-pillar trim.A-Pillar Trim Panel - Installation
14. Install left and right end covers.Instrument Panel End Cap - Installation
15. Install knee bolster screws (1).
16. Install steering column cover.Steering Column Opening Cover - Installation
17. Insert steering wheel and column into steering wheel opening.
18. Install lower coupling steering bolt (3) and install the intermediate shaft.
19. Connect the transmission interlock and wire connector.
20. Install defroster outlets.
21. Connect cluster wire connectors and install screws (1).
22. Snap cluster bezel into place ensuring proper seat.
23. Snap ignition trim ring bezel firmly into place.
24. Install radio.Radio - Installation
25. Connect antenna connectors.
26. Snap radio bezel firmly into place and connect wire connectors.
27. Install glove box.Instrument Panel Glove Box - Installation
28. Install center console. Shifter Housing - Installation
29. Install console bezel. Instrument Panel Bezel - Installation
30. Install left and right lower closeout panels. Instrument Panel End Cap - Installation
31. Install front seats. Seat - Installation
