Front Seat Back Handle And Cable - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove the lower outer shield (2).
2. Disengage seat back cover (1) J-clips and pull upward.





3. Remove the lower inner shield fasteners (1) and slide shield (2) down and out of seat back cover.





4. Carefully pull the seat back cover up to gain access to the rear entry release cable and seat side airbag mounting fasteners.
5. Disconnect the rear entry release cable from the release latch (2) and the mounting bracket (1).





6. Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the handle bezel (1).





7. Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, release the front of the handle assembly (1) and separate the rear of the handle assembly (2) from the mounting bracket.

9. Remove the handle and cable assembly (1) from the seat back assembly (2).
